U14A Girls Remain Unbeaten This Season

Early start away to Maynooth for the u14 girls today. With a slow start to the game it took 20 minutes for the deadlock to be broken 1-0 Clonee with a goal from Maddie Scully. Clonee pushed hard and not long after super striker Teagan Lynch put Clonee 2 up. Maynooth were a very strong side and it didn’t take them long to get back in the game 2-1. Maynooth pushed and we’re awarded a peno 2-2 All square at half time. Clonee started the 2nd half well with a goal from Lily Meade to put Clonee back in the lead. Both teams continued to push with Clonee awarded a peno captain Mia Andrews stepped up and comfortably put the ball in the net 4-2 Clonee. Hard battle but the girls remain unbeaten this season.
